McDonald's??? I'm eating a burger and I was stting here realizing that I been doing that all my life and i think it's because I feel like pickles don't belong on a hamburger-lol wonder who idea that was to put them there

I haven't had a burger in over 2 years but as far as I'm concerned, The more pickles the better but please no mayo or tomato.

One thing I noticed is that different fast food restaurants have different taste in their pickles. Burger King's pickles aren't as good as McDonalds. Pickles help make the buger. I feel tomatoes don't go on a burger, but that's just me. I love pickles, I could eat them alone.

I hate onions anyway, so that's one reason I never eat McDonald's burgers. I do love Dairy Queen's burgers, however - they just put on the ketchup, mustard and pickles. I love pickles!! :D

My daughter always orders hamburgers from McDonalds with mustard and lettuce only. Their hamburgers (the small ones) don't come with lettuce, but she orders them that way and they make it that way. Also, that will ensure her will get a freshly made hamburger too since she is only asking for mustard on there and they just add the lettuce. ;)

Dude, I usually always do that, too! When I'm at McDonald's, I take the pickes off my burger or cheeseburger, but I leave the pickles on if I have a big mac. When I'm at Burger King, I don't like pickles on burgers, cheeseburgers, or whoppers.

Over here in england we call them pickles gerkins, i use to take them off when i was younger but i quite like them now. I prefer a chicken burger though with mayo and crunchy iceberg lettuce!! and a still fanta to wash it down with! ;)

Honey, I think you are in the minority regarding Mickey D's fries. I don't like BK's fries at all.

Ranch dressing is way too sour for me, but I LOOOOVE mayo (except on burgers!! :lol:). So when I get a Crispy Ranch BLT at the drive-thru, I take it home, wipe off the ranch and spread LOTS of mayo. :drool:

In the late 90s/early 2000s McDs market share was falling dramatically, and, since teens and children are their main customers, they decided to start calling it Mickey Ds to make it seem more "urban" and "hiphop", to appeal to that target group.

They don't take the pickles off, As I stated earlier, McDonalds cooks their burgers ahead and puts them under heat lamps. If you ask for a burger without pickles, they will make it fresh. Also, You're the one paying for it so it should be prepared the way you want it. There's no rule that says you have to take it the way they fix it.

One seller had a sealed one a few months ago and tried to get $150. :rolleyes: I started mine out at 9.99 & it was about as pristine as you could get but I only got one bid. I think one bid is not enough to base on whether there is a value to it or not. I am sure there would be someone out there who would pay at least $40for it. $9.99 is dirt cheap. In time, it will be worth a lot more. But, if I had that doll, I would keep it forever! ;)

I never stated that one bid was enough to base it's value on just that it was all I got. I really have no idea what it's actual value is. My only regret now is that I sold the doll because I would've given it to you if I'd known you would've wanted it. :)
