From the going out on top file, ESPN has reported Colts OL Tarik Glenn will retire after helping them win Super Bowl XLI, 29-17 over the Bears. That now makes it two Colts players that have now retired after winning the Super Bowl, the other being veteran WR Ricky Proehl. Anyway, he's earned the right to retire after winning a championship. It was the same deal last year with former Steelers RB Jerome "The Bus" Bettis, when he retired after the Steelers won Super Bowl XL. The Colts O-Line will be in good hands with Charlie Johnson, Ryan Diem, Tony Ugoh, Michael Toudouze, Jeff Saturday and others. For Tarik Glenn, thanks for what you've done for the Colts and thanks for the memories. Since he's from Cleveland, he might consider returning to his native Ohio and possibly taking a high school football coaching job or he could do the same thing in Indiana. No matter what he does in his post-NFL life, he'll have a spot awaiting him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. The Colts will miss Tarik Glenn, but at least he'll begin the next phase of his life after pro football. The team must move on, but #78 will be checking in with them from time to time.
