Alice NEEDS to be shown in a marathon in my opinion. My list goes like this

Gimmie a Break!
One Day At a Time
Webster
Family Matters
Golden Girls

I could watch family matters in a marathon, not Webster or Gimmie a Break. One Day a Time is not that watchable to me.

Yeah All in the Family is ok in small doses but not a marathon, maybe that's why I haven't bought the DVD yet-lol

I couldn't take let's say 48 hours of Steve Urkel. You know a marathon would focus on him. Family Matters was good for about 4 years.

That is so true. I wouldn't mind watching the earlier seasons of Family Matters in a marathon - where Urkel is sparingly used.

I liked it when I was a kid, but when I look back at it now I think, "wow, I actually watched this?!" I definitely couldn't take a marathon of that.

Different Strokes comes to mind. The last season of Roseanne too, although I don't know if that counts.

Diffrent Strokes is a marathon I could watch if it started from season 3

yeah i liked the later seasons (though i remember nick at nite barely played the last season, so i don't know how the quality went from there) but the first seasons were kind of lame.

I will always prefer season 8 over season 1

Are you serious? Season 1 wasn't that bad, but season 8 was horrible.

season 8 was awful but season 1 wasn't that great. I liked the show best beginning in season 2.

If we're talking a 24-48 hour marathon, I don't know if there are any shows I'd watch that long. Well, no, back when Adam-12 was on TV Land, I watched damn near the whole 48 hours. But even with something I totally love, like The Incredible Hulk, I think I'd still want a break after 7 or 8 hours.
