You tube freezes my computer, so i couldnt look but, to me the best 80s cartoon intro is the one we still see every week on the Simpsons

My personal favorite was the Alvin & The Chipmunks opening sequence and theme. Did anyone else think that "Meet the Chipmunks" sounds an awful lot like Van Halen's "Jump"?? :lol: Close second would be Muppet Babies.

yes it does, especially the very beginning of that intro theme, does anyone think that it might have ripped off van halen's 'jump'?

Boy, the 80's cartoons were all about selling toys weren't they?

Some of those shows I hardly remember.

I have to pick "Battle Of The Planets" as my fave. I loved that show.

yes, the toys market was heavily saturated with TV and cartoon spin-offs such as the teenage mutant hero turtles, thundercats, he-man to name. oh how i laughed when i when i saw Mr T- i hadn't seen that for ages! and chuck norris and karate kommandos! :lol: i never saw that cartoon, i don't think it was shown back in england during the 80s but when i saw it on youtube i thought, ' i cannot believe that there was a cartoon based on martial arts action star chuck norris!'
