This is what is posted on her blog:
"Another Sitcom??
A question for my sitcom fans to answer on my forum:
"Do you think I should do another sitcom?""

I would love to see her back on TV, but maybe not in the form of another sitcom.

I'd like to see her make a comeback, hopefully she finds the right vehicle and cast.

Yeah. Me too.
Roseanne was called the Lucy of the 90's by TV Guide.
And seeing as how the show Roseanne was ALWAYS in the Top 5 most watched shows for its first 6 seasons, Roseanne has shown she has great talent.
However, the last 2 seasons of Roseanne were OK, not bad, but OK.
And I know there are fans of the 9th season on this forum, but COME ON...its ratings sucked (35th on the Nielsen ratings) and the critics hated it.
And her talk-show bombed, only having two seasons total. Plus her reality TV Show was canceled before it went on air. And her last stand-up act didn't impress very many people.
Roseanne needs to be very smart about her next move. She has talent, but she has to be focused and not do anything half-ass.
If she wants to have another show, she better get REALLY good writers to help her with it, and get another AMAZING cast. But honestly, I just don't think any cast could compare to the original cast of Roseanne.
Which is why I'd like to see her on The View or do something like Kathy Griffin, but actually get people to help her with her stand-up and actually write really good jokes, not things she just thought of right before she went on stage (as she said she did with many of her jokes in her recent stand-up acts).
I'd hate to see another failed project and I really hope she spends time and energy in any decision she makes with regards to coming back to TV. I know she can do it, and I'm a HUGE fan, but I have my worries.

why not? i think she should and besides, her age shouldn't be a barrier. if katey segal, who was in the hugely successful married with children back in the late 80s can make her comeback in 10 simple rules, 2 decades later, then, i don't see why roseanne cannot do the same thing as well. and like married with children, roseanne was an 80s family based sitcom

I think she should. There is such a serious shortage of new sitcoms being produced, and since she is such a big name, why not? I say go for it!!

I agree with everyone here. I'd love to see her in something new.

What about title? Maybe "The New Roseanne Barr Show".

Wasn't the New Roseanne Barr Show the name of one of her talkshows? She had like 5 of them?
Roseanne basically got lucky with her first show, because she had a phenomenal supporting cast, with all talented actors. It's gonn abe hard for that to happen again.
