I was wondering who was the guy who played Margaret on M*A*S*H
She wasnt played by a guy, it was Loretta Switt...Not the World's most beautiful woman perhaps, but, certainly not a man :eek:

Margaret's husband, Donald Penobscot, appeared twice on the show and was played by two different actors - Beeson Carroll (season 5) and Mike Henry (season 6).

Mike Henry also played Tarzan in a string of B movies in the 60s.
And Beeson Carrol played a homosexual on MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN.

Maybe the first guy couldn't return the following season, so they got a lookalike hoping no one would notice. It's not as if Penobscot was a major character. I liked the first guy better - he was funnier.

I also like the first Guy.
