Breaking bills. I usually do that until I have too many coins and I have to pay exact.

I give exact change when possible. The cashiers appreciate it when not everyone gives them a $20 for a $3.49 purchase.

I prefer to give exact change, but then come the times when I need to break bills. I hate that ATMs (at least the ones around me) only give you $20s.

It depends. If I can't get to a bank, I break bills. If I purchase something, and I have that exact change, I will give them that. I always try to make it where I don't get as much change as possible.

There is this one ATM machine in my neighborhood, ironically it's my bank, they will give you whatever you want up to $500 a day. If you need $13, they will give you that. If you need $187.13, they will give you that. So, you don't have to depend on $20s.

I prefer to give exact change, especially when the amount is below say fifty cents, such as $15.25. I don't like carrying all that loose change around in my pocket!

I don't use cash. I don't like carrying it around. Checks or Debit Card with me.

If I could, I give exact change every time. Years ago when you bought something the cashier would put the receipt in the bag so all you had to do was collect the change. Now they hand you both the receipt and the change. If you give exact change all you have to flub with is the receipt and if you tell them they sometimes will put the receipt in the bag. On occasions I dropped coins while flubbing with that receipt. To make the long story, short, anything that will get me out the line faster I will do.

I try to give exact change as much as possible. I hate having to stuff a bunch of bills in my wallet or my pocket again I might end up losing it. I try to get rid of my coins when I can.

I use debit cards mostly but if i have the change for a low purchase id use that change why use anything else? it makes sense.;)

Exact change most of the time. I always seem to get the cashiers that can't count.

I love giving exact change. It's so amazn, when I can give the person $7.12, or whatever. IT'S A THRILL.

At the drive thru's I try to give exact change. I have change in my car that I use for that reason. I have time to gather that for the cashier. In a store where I am in line, I don't do that, I am taking up a cashier's time and unless they ask me if I have the change for them, I don't do it.
