Being changed into a lot of stuff and having spells cast on him all the time, you would think that darrin would be at least nice to Sam's relatives. He really brought all that on himself. He always said something to tick off the witches and then they zap him into whatever until he apologizes. Come on, man, you know what you get into when you diss any member of Sam's family. Even Sam tries to tell him that he's in the wrong for what he's doing, but oh well, if he enjoys having spells placed on him.
Darrin suffers from PRIDE, and that is one of the Seven Deadly Sins. It shouldn't have to take Sam to get the offended family member back to restore him. He needed to really stop and think before shooting off his mouth and breaking bad on people. From watching all this, I learned that you should always make peace with all people, because one of these days you find yourself turned into an artichoke.

In Darrin's defense, you don't go to someone elses house and disrespect them for not living up to your expectations.

Yes, you would think Darrin would've learned his lesson eventually. Alas, he never did, making for some very funny situations.

What gets me is that by the fifth season (Dick York's Last), you'd think Darrin wouldn't really be surprised anymore. But no matter what, he always looks so surprised when something happens. I mean after five years of all that magical stuff happening, I would just expect it, whether I wanted to or not, lol.

After five years, Darrin has got to know that he's not really in control. Even if Samantha does agree to no more witchcraft, her family made no such agreement. Why does Darrin get so mad at them, like NO ONE's supposed to use their powers?

And I also think that Darrin is stupid sometimes when he keeps on trying to lay down the law with Samantha's relatives. He has to know what's coming. But, like "comedyfreak" said, it's his house and they shouldn't just barge on in and be rude to him, first. I guess it's a matter of principle with Darrin.
