So I'm watching a show on TBS the other night. I don't even remember what show it was really...but it was almost over. With probably less than a minute left in the show, the screen freezes and Bill Engvall pops up on my TV and starts telling me about his new show. When he's done, he "touches" the screen and resumes the show I was watching.

ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME? Isn't it bad enough that networks have started showing the next episode on their schedule in a split screen while the credits from the previous episode is running in order to squeeze in those few extra seconds of commercials?

It doesn't help that I can't stand Bill Engvall or any of these other Blue Collar comedians. I can't wait for these four guys 15 minutes to be up...

I saw that a few days ago! I was watching Everybody Loves Raymond, and suddnely right in the middle of the show, a pause button came up on the screen and Bill Engvall did a promo for his new TBS show.

Then he was like "Now, let's get back to the show" and pointed at the screen and it resumed.

I'm also annoyed by the ads with him throwing a frisbee across the screen. Honestly, I think these advertising methods are more likely to turn off viewers than attract them.
