Hello Everyone

I started the Munster Koach a couple weeks ago. I am having an extremely hard time finding someone to reproduce the head lights, side lights and tail light. I have gotten several bids but I think 5K a piece is just crazy. Is there anyone out there that might be able to help me? I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks

Hate to burst your bubble but, if you want hand made custom pieces, you have to expect to pay a premium.....perhaps a good way to go might be to take some steel working and welding courses so you can do the work yourself, it would be costly in the beginning, but, youd save big in the long run. Another way to go is to buy pieces that are similar ( Say outdoor coachlights like youd have on a porch ) and modify/adapt them to resemble the pieces of the original car......good luck with that Lillys

Oh, and many of the pieces on the car can probably be found in antique shops ( The bulb horn , for instance ), so you could try that too. :)

Hey Mikado

Thanks for the reply. I think I am going to hold out on some hope. I know if I have to I can find some similar pieces and replace them later. I really don't have time to take classes and even if I did I don't know if I could make them myself. I go to a lot of antique stores so I am keeping an eye out for the things I need. I did get a great bid and was ready to start them and the guy got a job in California and couldn't do my the job. He also told me the bids were way to high. You never know I might come across someone wanting to make a little money and also thinking it would be cool to help build the Koach.

Thanks
