Who remembers this show? I remember being frightened of it when I was little. I think maybe it was the 80s hair.

This was my favorite show as a little girl!! I had the dolls, tapes, sticker albums, etc. I couldn't get enough! I even made my own pair of red star earrings out of paper and card stock, and thought if I touched them I too would be a gorgeous rock star. Those were the days!!

Jem is now out-of-print on dvd, unfortunately. Sony should give the rights back to Rhino who were actually doing something with it. We're missing the last part of Season 3.

Oh my god, I remember Jem! I had every Jem toy that is now sitting in my attic. I have the DVD's too but the last part of season three is missing and damnit, I want it!

BTW: You can catch old Jem doll commericals on youtube, I saw them two weeks ago and almost fell over! Those were the days!

I don't know the legalities of licensing shows but how did Rhino lose the rights to releasing the dvd. It sold very well, I think. It was also available everywhere. All of the retro stores like Newbury Comics and Urban Outfitters carried it. Then, the last part of Season 3 went unreleased. Rhino should acquire the rights to finish off the series and possibly re-release the first 2 sets. There is a demand out there for them. :)
