I came across a message board relating to cities, states and countries.
I find it very fun to read; a lot of different subjects and even a different page for each state.
The main page is here:http://www.city-data.com/forum

Here are some fun topics:

"Cities you would never live in?"
http://www.city-data.com/forum/general-u-s/96174-cities-you-would-never-live.html

"Worst state and why?"
http://www.city-data.com/forum/general-u-s/87568-worst-state-why.html

"Favorite state?"

I found that site last year Fleet. It's very interesting. My husband and I were considering relocating, and I got a lot of valuable information there.

Oh, I didn't realize anyone here knew about it. It's kind of funny to read members bash different cities! Miami and Las Vegas get bashed a lot. Chicago and Los Angeles somewhat less.

Yeah, there is actally too much to read on that site! It would take forever to read all of the threads.
I found it while looking up info on Nevada City, California.

Yes, probably the largest site of its type.

Now I'm going to have to read these threads to see how many times I say, "Good, we don't want you here anyway!"

Someone should start these threads here. Might be interesting.

I thought of a thread relating to cities and traveling... watch for it! Or, I'll put it in this thread...

Is there anybody here who has not done a lot of traveling?
Who has not travelled a lot (or at all) outside of a 30-mile radius of where you live?

The all-time farthest place I've been to is Las Vegas, and that was over 30 years ago.
Other than that, I've been to San Diego (The Zoo) and Anaheim (Disneyland & Knott's Berry Farm), Twenty-Nine Palms in the desert, Palmdale and Valyermo, both also in the desert, Irwindale and Arcadia (San Gabriel Valley) and Downey which is southeast of L.A.

*raises hand* I don't really travel all that much either. I've been to Washington D.C. for a school trip, Ohio to visit my best friend, and New Jersey several times for Beatlefest.
