Twentieth TV and FremantleMedia have cleared the new half-hour gameshow "Temptation" in 199 markets reaching 96% of the country.
"Temptation," a remake of the gameshow warhorse "Sale of the Century," has landed deals in each of the top-30 markets, including 10 MyNetworkTV affiliates owned by Fox in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas. It premieres in September.

You're pulling my leg, right? It can't be Todd-I would prefer these two shows for either someone like Mark L. Wahlberg and Larry Anderson. BTW, get over the fact CBS weatherman Dave Price will not be considered to succeed Bob Barker on The Price is Right-it's time to move on from that. I don't care what anyone on this board says, Todd Newton, based on his experiences with TPIR Live in Las Vegas, is the most qualified to succeed Bob, and no one is making me change my mind about that. I don't mean to offend you, Brian, but we need to be reasonable about everything that goes on in the game show industry, nowadays.

Why can't Wayne Newton be considered for Temptation or TPIR? He's personable and real handy with a microphone, and he could sing the opening theme song. He even has a lot of different colored suit jackets. Even better, he has the same last name as Todd Newton. Danke Schoen!

Unless something changes I don't think Temptation will be airing in the Atlanta area regularly. I am very disappointed in WATL. They can manage to air Maury THREE times a day but they can't find one little tiny rinky-dink half-hour for Temptation?!?!

I did not like the original host of "Sale of The Century" but he was great when he did "Card Sharks"

It's great to see 'Temptation'. I always liked 'Sale of the Century' and this game brings back most of the elements. I like the host and announcer too and the fact that they list where you can buy the prizes that are presented on the show.
