View Full Version : Info on trader: BlooBarracuda@aol.com
lauryn07 07-06-2007, 10:58 AM I don't want to post a bad trader alert unless I have to. I did a trade with the guy and have so far not received his end of the trade or any responses to my latest e-mail.
If anyone has any information, please post.
Thanks.
robyrob 07-06-2007, 11:01 AM what's his username here and how long has it been or are there any other important details?
jtmovies91 07-06-2007, 11:17 AM I have traded 2 or 3 times with him-with no problems. He does take a little longer to ship, but he does say up front. Plus our trades have been large ones so it takes a little longer. I do know he is busy with school, work, etc. I have no complaints with this trader, and I plan to keep on trading with him. I enjoy trading with him.
T-Greg 07-06-2007, 02:47 PM You just have to search his email address. It's masterblooregard
lauryn07 07-06-2007, 05:05 PM I don't believe it was from this board but a post through a message group. He received my DVDs in the second week of June. He then said on the 16th of June he would send mine out that Monday and I should receive them by the end of the week. It's now three weeks later and two weeks ago he stopped responding to any e-mails and the DVDs have never arrived.
It was not a big trade. 2 DVDs tops. I understand getting busy with work and school, but I have always kept people up to date and responded to every e-mail no matter how busy or guilty I felt for being delayed.
Being that it wasn't a big trade I'm not really too upset about it, but if this is becoming a pattern I don't want anyone else who has a larger trade to end up in my situation.
tick26 07-06-2007, 11:35 PM oh god i hope it's not true. we just did a trade and i have yet to receive my end. she said the said thing that it's in the mail 3 weeks ago and i emailed him yesterday about it and no response. i'll give him some sly since it's holiday week, but if no reponse by next week i will be emailing him again.
T-Greg 07-07-2007, 08:16 AM There are some people who have no intention of completing a trade and there are others, that for some reason, get over their head with too many deals going on at once, or have family issues come up that make trading very difficult. If you are one of the former people, you are a thief. If you fall into the latter, then you are obligated to stop doing any more trading until you are caught up with those trades where you owe people. I had someone do that to me not long ago. I kept emailing him, never getting any responses, then one day, he appears out of nowhere offering to make trades. That takes some gall.
tick26 07-07-2007, 10:50 AM strange how the 16th is the last email i received from him and the last time he posted. maybe he's on vacation. he has too many people backing him up to turn bad trader, but i've heard stories on how traders take a 180 turn. i agree with you t-greg. you should know your limits and if someone sends you their end and you're having problems sending theirs, 5 seconds sending an email telling them what's up is the polite thing to do. they shouldn't have to keep emailing you for their part of the trade.i know i'm very busy and there are times i can't do any trades,so that's why i tell people who i'm trading with: i will email you when i'm done with your trade. unfortunately for me it was a pretty big trade. 20+ discs and it hasn't been a month yet since i sent it, i'm not too much worry yet.i'll keep you guys updated and lauryn07, keep us updated too.
tick26 07-07-2007, 03:53 PM his package came in the mail today. what a relief. so don't worry lauryn07, yours should be on its way. most likely he got behind when the day he said he's going to send it. happends to me many times,so that's why i won't email that it's sent until its at the post office
robyrob 07-07-2007, 05:10 PM i think the lesson here once again is COMMUNICATION
if you are slow sending stuff out - let your trading partners know what is goin on
lauryn07 07-09-2007, 01:31 PM I did finally hear back from him and I guess he has been in Africa or something ... and that he won't be able to send my package until the end of the month.
Personally, I think I should have been given the information before he left that it would be that long, or told me to wait to send my end because waiting almost two months to receive because of a business trip without a word was a little much for me.
Had I know it was going to take this long or he was going to leave I might not have done the trade at the time. I was prompt in my delivery to him.
I'm glad you received your DVDs. I'm hoping to see mine in three weeks.
tick26 07-11-2007, 05:36 PM that's one of the downfalls of trading when you have a job. anything can pop like an emergency travel, extra hours etc, but still he could've emailed you before he went stating what's wrong or at times with me when someone is finish with their part, i will tell them to wait til i'm finish.
