Well, tonight is the night maybe if my boyfriend's sister in law is there when the (letter of demand) is delivered and then who knows what will happen.
I'm not so worried about what she will say but it's her actions that scare me.
All I can say is that if she gets out of control then, no choice but to call the police. All (hell) will break loose and it won't be pretty and/or peaceful.

Please, say a prayer and keep you fingers and toes crossed.
I will give you an update when I can. Thanks for the support and concern.

I can't believe that not even one person cares enough to respond.

Well, here's the update; she got the letter of demand last night and of course she was shocked and upset but she didn't cause any trouble....(yet)

So, now she's been notified that the must leave by Aug. 4th.
We'll have to wait and see how the next weeks to follow will be like.

I will keep you all posted if and when something does happen.

My boyfriend had errands to run for his parents and then we went back to his parents' house and of course she (sister in law) was there. She took the week off except for Monday; anyway she came near the kitchen where we were and she told my boyfriend off so to speak but said nothing to me.

As my boyfriend says; let her try and do something. If she ever crosses the line; then he and/or his father will call the police on her. Once she's gone from there; there will finally be peace in that household and for his parents.

I will definitely be very happy and be really glad to say  (bye bye)

Just be glad you live in Canada , if your family was still in China, youd be stuck with her forever ( If I'm not mistaken (?) ) ...by the way, Nihao , fellow Canadian!

I haven't a clue as to what occurred.

I am glad it worked out for you, but I didn't read or see any previous posts as to what has been going on in your family. If I did, I would have posted my thoughts to you.

Irene, her family are Chinese immigrants to Canada, who still follow some of the ways of China, so , when her late brother was married, his wife became a member of the family, as per Chinese/Asian tradition. ( You dont become an "in-law", you become a son/daughter ) Anyway, this girl took advantage of the family, especially after her husband died, and so 80s and her family have been tolerating her ever since. Finally they decided to get a court order for her to leave the family home, and have been wating for it to go through so they can evict her.

Oh my gosh. How did I miss this story? I am sorry 80's for what happened. I had no idea. I am real sorry for what the family had to go through and endure but reading your last post sounds like it worked out very well for the family.
