View Full Version : The Most Annoying Songs of All Time!
Brian Damage 07-03-2007, 09:43 AM The Black Eyed Peas' “My Humps” has topped a new online poll to find the Most Annoying Song.
Rock magazine Rolling Stone's Web site asked readers to vote for their most hated tunes over the weekend--and the overwhelming least favorite song was “My Humps,” which narrowly beat Los Del Rio's “Macarena.”
Dubbed "the songs guaranteed to ruin your day", the top 10 is:
1. The Black Eyed Peas – “My Humps”
2. Los Del Rio – “Macarena”
3. Baha Men – “Who Let The Dogs Out”
4. Celine Dion – “My Heart Will Go On”
5. Nickelback – “Photograph”
6. Lou Bega – “Mambo No. 5?”
7. James Blunt – “You're Beautiful”
8. The Spice Girls – “Wannabe”
9. Sisqo – “The Thong Song”
10. Cher – “Believe”
catlover79 07-03-2007, 10:02 AM I agree with all those songs. My sister can't stand "Because I Got High" by Afroman, and couldn't believe it didn't make it on the list.
Here's my list:
"All By Myself" by Eric Carmen/Celine Dion
"Having My Baby" by Paul Anka/Odia Coates
"Muskrat Love" by Captain & Tennille
"Torn Between Two Lovers" by Mary MacGregor
"Livin' La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin.
All those tunes make me want to...puke: and/or :seeya:
Cactus Jack 07-03-2007, 09:33 PM Add Seasons in the Sun to my list LOL
Ireneparalegal 07-03-2007, 09:36 PM The new one by Gwen Stefani is friggin' annoying. I don't know the name of it, and frankly, I don't care to know the name of it. I just know that when I listen to free FM radio, BAM, there it is playing. Thank God for Sirius.

I knew you were going to bring that one up. Surprised you didn't mention "Afternoon Delight" as well.

For some reason, Gwen Stefani's musice gets really annoying really fast. Probably becasue they do overplay it on terrestrial radio.
The Idol 07-04-2007, 07:44 PM i love the sweet escape!!! but yah they did overplay it...

Nighthawk76 07-04-2007, 11:50 PM "Livin' La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin.
That is a terrible song. No doubt about it. And remember that little dance he did where he would lift his leg up like a dog about to pee on a bush?

Yeah, I agree with all of those. Especially, I Got You Babe. I've never cared for that song. I prefer "The Beat Goes On".
Lovin You - Minnie Riperton, that song drove me right up the wall.

I actually like that song, but you were around when it first came out and I wasn't. I wasn't subjected to the constant airplay.

So true, they played it all the time on the radio and I got to where I couldn't stand it. ;)

Mikado 07-19-2007, 08:49 PM Might as well go for a soda- Dont know who did it, and I dont WANT to...Hey, if you can't write a 3 minute song with more than 2 lines of lyrics, then don' t bother.....it just goes on and on and on and on and on.........................................................................................and on
waichingliu81 07-24-2007, 02:44 PM my list is as follows:
barbie girl- aqua; cheesy, utter dirge
survivor- destiny's child; overplayed too much
without you-either version will do; be it mariah carey or whomever did the original, i hate that song
where is the love?- black eyed peas; i cannot recall for the life of me how many times numerous radio stations in london played this song to death, over and over again
cry me a river- justin timberlake; this song and sexy back really grates on my nerves, but this edges it- well, just
my heart will go on- celine dion; so annoying it drags on and on
everything i do, i do it for you- bryan adams; spent like 15 weeks or so in the UK at no#1 in the singles chart, i wonder how many people who purchased that song regret doing so since then
believe- cher has made some wonderful songs in the past, but this isn't one of them
all by myself- cannot remember who did the original but whenever this song is played on the radio, i switch to another frequency, or i listen to one of my MP3 tracks
the power of love- jennifer rush or celine dion version, both will do
beautiful- christina aguilera; ballady, dull and tedious

Mambo #5 is indeed one of the most annoying songs to come out of the last decade. Because the name "Monica" (spelled slightly different than my name) is in the lyrics, people would sing it to me.
Ireneparalegal 07-24-2007, 08:31 PM There is a song that currently gets played A LOT on regular radio. My neighbor sometimes has the radio on in her backyard real loud and this station plays this song that I haven't a clue who sings it, but the guy sounds terrible and he keeps saying the lyric: "Suicidal, suicidal..." it is apparently a love song and I think it is in the hip-hop category because that is the music that is normally played on this particular station. Anyhoo, I hear it and the song sounds like the guy recorded it while singing into a tin can, the song is abt a guy who says if his love ever leaves him he will be "suicidal" which I think is sending the wrong message to anyone, especially young people. I swear, the word "suicidal" must be said over 50 times in this song. It is PATHETIC.
coffield3 07-24-2007, 08:40 PM Oh dear, id climb into her backyard and throw the radio into the wall!!

It's called, "Beautiful Girl" by Sean Kingston, and I hate that "suicidal, suicidal," part too. It disturbs me. But, I thought he was Akon when I heard this song.
Nelson_Flavor 08-07-2007, 12:31 AM Crimson & Clover (over and over)....... After about the 50th time, you want to throw your radio out of the window.

Thank you for that. I found out from my daughter the name of the singer too. That song is just annoying and stupid.
