View Full Version : Halloween!
Georgia's on my Mind 07-02-2007, 02:37 AM I know it's kind of early...but is anyone but me planning their halloween costume?? I just watched The Notebook the other day...which may or may not have been a good idea. But in any event, I want dress in drag as a 40's housewife/vixen! I think it would be very fun. So are you planning, if so what do you want to be? I sew really well, so I might make my own costume unless I find something on ebay.
dawsongirl 07-02-2007, 03:38 AM I don't even observe Halloween anymore. The older I get, the more pointless holidays are becoming to me. Sad, but true.
Fleet 07-02-2007, 04:24 AM Halloween? :happyface
I won't be wearing a costume, but I will be fine-tuning my Halloween display. :)
AllIWantIsYourClutch 07-02-2007, 10:35 AM I'll probably go to Rocky Horror at school again this Halloween, which means busting out my Transylvanian costume.
Number 9 Dream 07-02-2007, 11:32 AM Cool thread! It's never too early to be thinking about Halloween in my book! :happyface ;)
Anyway, I'm not too sure what I'm going as this year...I've always wanted to do an all-out 80's type costume, so I might do that this year.
swedeace 07-02-2007, 02:14 PM OMG!! I was just thinking about creating such a thread just the other day! You beat me to it, Georgia's on My Mind!
I agree with Kristel! It's never too early to start thinking about Halloween! *teehee*
I had already decided that I would love to be a 20s Flapper girl! I plan on searching for the costume as early as next week so that I can prepare ahead of time before it becomes a madhouse in October. Ebay is a good idea to find the costume pieces, so I might look into it there.
Frischman_Fan 07-02-2007, 07:59 PM My cousin and I are going to the annual Halloween party as Lucy and Ethel. Btw, we've been planning this since March. LOL!! Last year she was a mummy and I went as a clown.

and my cousins and i always go as something realted like.. last year, we were the gang from Gilligan's Island! we went from house to house singing the theme song... everyone loved us... good times... the year before that, we were a bunch of pirates, and before that we were all jedi... goood times
like, this year, we might do one of the following:
The Munsters
The Beverlly Hillibillies
or The Mamas and the Papas
if we don't do any of these... i might just be a hippie.
phoebe7165 07-08-2007, 04:44 PM I agree, it's never to soon to be thinking about Halloween! I'm surprised that Wal-mart hasn't begun putting out their Halloween stuff on the shelves. Seriously!! But some of the catalogs I get in the mail, like Betty's Attic already have costumes for sale.
There's one that's a Twister game. You wear the Twister board and the spinner board on your head.
Then there was another one that was a Wheaties box and it's made to look like you're on the front of the Wheaties box.

RoryGilmore 07-09-2007, 11:50 AM At my school we're allowed to dress up and all but I've never done it but me and a friend were talking like doing the private school girl thing, we're thinking like the one Britney Spears wore in Hit Me Baby One More Time.
