It's July 2nd, and Lindsay Lohan turns 21 today. By the way things are looking, it ain't so good. So as a disservice to the public, if you were Lindsay Lohan's psychologist, what advice would you give to her so she could live long and prosperous?

Whatever. At least she willingly went to rehab.

O_O Stay in rehab? Go to an actual rehab facility?

When I was 21 I was getting things done in a positive way through community service.

If I were to give her advice I would simply tell her to ask herself these questions:
Who are you?
What do you want?
Where are you going?
Who do you serve?
Who do you trust?

I don't expect her to have the answers, as I don't even have the answers. But if she simply asks herself them, I feel she'd be on the road to recovery.

I haven't heard any reports of wild parties (yet), so maybe she really is taking the issue seriously. In any case, I hope that she recovers and that things only get better from here.

I would tell her to keep her head up and concentrate on being a better person. She obviously has issues with her dad and that will take counseling to work through. It could also be the cause of a lot of her party girl ways. She just needs people to love her and help her through this time in her life.
Oh and stay away from Paris.

Agreed, but remember, Lindsay Lohan also has issues with her mother-she's setting a bad example for her and her siblings by exploiting their problematic lifestyle into a reality TV show for her own personal fame. Lindsay, you're now 21-you're loved, but please get help as much as you need it.

Get NEW friends who will help influence her in a positive way and help truly support her -hopefully- new way of living without all the partying.
And as much as I hate to say it...she may need to distance herself from mommy dearest for a while.

That has got to be hard on her to not be able to count on her mom or her dad. I can't imagine not having my parents around for me. My folks aren't the best parents in the world but at least they are supportive. I know she will make it throught this hard time. She is a tough girl. Plus she might have to be there as a support for her siblings one day.
