My son sold his trampoline yesterday and we took it apart this morning because the woman was coming back with her husband to pick it up today. So I asked if they'd ever put one together and they hadn't, so I started showing how it fitted together and the husband rudely told me that "He would figure out" so I said ok. I was just trying to be helpful because it had so many pieces. I've noticed that alot of men don't like being helped by a woman. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

What a Jerk! Well, maybe hell put it together wrong now and someone will get hurt........And then hell probably try to blame YOU for it.

I'd bet anything that if you're husband started showing him how to do it he'd be all ears.

A truly enlightened man would take help or advice from anyone, be it a man or a woman.

If anything, i hope this experience has taught you not to help anybody out at all.

How rude. With any luck, it will take him three days to put it together. When it's finally done, and he jumps on it, maybe he'll jump so high, that he'll land in a tree, lol.

Or he'll go right through it and slam his ass on the ground.

That would work too, even better, lol.

I just hope he ass-embles it correctly and a child doesn't get hurt playing on it.

It sounds like it kind of goes hand in hand with the whole "Men don't ask for directions" theory. I could've at least been nice and let you explain!

It did make me feel bad, but I try not to let it bother me so much. His wife was really nice, she was asking questions and I was answering her but the husband was pretty rude to me. Maybe he was just having a bad day or maybe that's his usual personality.
