Well, they actually hung together a LOT offscreen and apparently had the hots for each other in a BIG way, but, decided not to "get together" for the "good of the show". Geez, what does Alan think hes doing, hanging with that "living Barbie Doll" ditz, who looks young enough to be his daughter???? :crazy:

They were on some talk show or other that I caught...his marriage was falling apart and I think she was between marriages, so they started seeing each other, but, as I said, decided not to pursue a romantic relationship, in fear that it might hurt the show.

They felt that it could have caused tension on the show if things didnt work out, so, i suppose that might be what might have happened.

Ok...I guess i had it backwards...it was HER divorce that almost made them a couple...well, it was a long time ago, since i saw that show, but, they both admitted to being HIGHLY attracted to each other.....frankly, if it had been me, and I had a good shot at Joanna Kerns, id have said THE HELL WITH THE SHOW...and gone for it ! ;)
