Any vacations, daytrips...what's going on this summer? We're not going away, but we've got some birthday cookouts to attend and to put on ourselves.

We were suppose to go to the Dominican Republic for a week, but scheduling became a problem, so we scratched the idea.

I'm going to Las Vegas, Nevada for a friend's wedding next week on 7-7-07 (yes, lucky 7's!). I'm going on the 5th (early morning) and won't be back until late night on the 8th. :D

We were supposed to go to Las Vegas again this summer, but with my boyfriend who just started work at a new company, he won't be able to take the time off. So, I guess any vacation plans or Vegas plans will have to take place on a weekend, which I hope can happen. If not, oh well.

We are going to be buying a beautiful patio set for our backyard. With that and the great weather, I am hoping to have several BBQ's and invite friends/family over.

My son is out for the summer officially today so some trips to the beach, just him and I. He loves the water. He loves being at the beach. I am going to try and get him into some sports activities for the summer since he won't start soccer season until September.

And, here I go thinking my posts were invisible. It usually happens in these "Weekend Chat" threads. :lol: :p

My best friend is supposed to be visiting from Ohio in early August, but other than that I have no other plans than working and relaxing at home...or hanging with friends :) Actually, I am taking the train in to the city in late July with a friend...should be fun!

The Staten Island Yankees start thier season next weekend, and my roommate has a bunch of tickets for the games. That should be fun.

A freind of mine is opening up a new bar in a few weeks, so i'm probably going to be dividing my time between there and my beloved Gaf. Luckily it's only a few blocks down the street.

I also have my annual baseball trip with my friends coming up in August I think, so that will be a blast.

Oh, and time permitting I might go back to work.

I'm taking a week off next month to fly to northern California and visit one of my best friends, Brenda. I can't wait!! :D

I'll be working a lot at my new part-time job at a law firm and I plan on spending lots of time with my friends. I'm going to the American Idol concert here on July 24th and I MIGHT audition for the show in San Diego the next week.

My Summer plans so far:

Going camping with my friend and her other friends in August.

Going camping with just my friend.

Housesitting for brother and wife as they vacation in North, & South Carolina.

Helping bro and wife move in across the street from us at my friends rental.

Playing basketball

Riding my bike

Getting my learners permit

That's about all I've got planned for now.

I'm not going on any vacations. I'm just going to stay home and help around the house doing yard work for my parents. I also plan on going to a few Padre games.

go out of town for a few days and have my dad yell at me and say "**** you" to me and tell me how worthless i am and that i'm a "little ****" and he wants to put me in a foster home just because he doesn't like me and blah blah blah and then make fun of me for trying to do something about it

move out of the house*

*indicates why my dad's idea of trying to send me to an orphanage would be ****ing stupid and not to mention totally ineffective

Basically relaxing soaking up the sun thats if we get much over here in england!! lol watching my shows im not going anywhere for vacation just chilling at home decorating our kitchen and bathroom with my partner!!

We have an RV in a campground in Northern Michigan. In the summer we go there almost every week and stay for a couple of days at a time. So I don't post much in the summer because I am always gone.:wave:

We went for a three-day weekend to the Smokey Mountains a few weeks ago, right after school let out here. We may take my son to Beech Bend in Bowling Green Ky. Its a small amusement park with waterslides. We may go to Kenlake for the 4th of July, they put on a big fireworks show and you can sit out in your boat & watch. Its really pretty and free.

we already went to the beach. hopefully we will get to go again

My family & I went to Walt Disney World back in May. Then, a couple weeks later, my mom & I visited my grandparents for a few days. I think we're through with vacations for now. I do miss Disney World though. :(

Going to the Dominican Republic for 8 days and then Florida for a few.

Just got back from Chicago. Spend three weeks working, saving up money and then I'm off to Europe for a month.

I just got back from being at my stepfamily's cabin yesterday -- I left on the 28th. How was it? A ****ty time, thanks for asking.

Nothing major, mostly swimming, working, tanning, maybe a shopping trip to Massachusetts.
