I hope so but I think they used the horrific sales of 227 not to release the series.

They should go ahead and release season one. I think it will sell well. I love the 'Retreat, Heck' episode with the Deacon and that bear. I would love to see footage on how Sherman prepared for his stunts since he didn't have a stunt double.

That was a good one, and so was the ep where the potato salad at the church fair gives everyone food poisoning. Another favorite of mine from the first season is Lorenzo's confession in front of the church that he had an affair with one lady in the choir. This confession gets the church in an uproar with each other - just as they are to host an important interfaith dinner!! :rofl: I taped almost all the episodes when a local station aired them a few years back. It would be great to see it on DVD but I don't see it happening any time soon, :(.

I would love to see this on DVD. It's never on TV anymore (at least not on any of the stations I get). :(
