$599 is a good number for that kind of phone. Just charge it Seth and pay it off by septemeber. $200 in July, $200 in August and $200 in Sept. Be good to yourself-lol

The MAYOR? Wtf, doesn't he realize how stupid that's gonna make him look?

Anyway, not worth it. I don't doubt in like a year or two they'll have them at less than half the price and better. I can totally hear that damn jingle in my head from the commercial, though. It's on like every damn commercial break.

I'm interested in it, but I'll have to wait a couple months to see if they have any recalls before I buy it.

I'm interested, but I'm not going to pay $500 for a smart phone. It has less memory than my iPod, and I don't want to have to switch to AT&T.

They said $599 but with taxes, insurance, and the AT&T set up, it will be over $1000. I just saw our Mayor on the News paying for a Phone with a Credit Card-lol

i heard a review on xm today, they said the internet features of the phone are REAL SLOW over the at&t network. Isn't that like the main feature to this phone?

Movie stars, who are accustomed to receiving the latest hot gadget in advance of its release in the hope that they'll be photographed with it, have been out of luck when it comes to landing Apple's new iPhone, the Los Angeles Times reported today (Friday). Famed publicist Liz Rosenberg, whose clients include Madonna, Liza Minnelli, and Cher, told the newspaper that she had been unsuccessful trying to get an iPhone for Cher. "Doesn't winning Oscars, Grammys and Emmys entitle her to move to the front of the line?" she asked. But the Times report also indicated that Steve Wozniak, who cofounded Apple with Steve Jobs, was planning to queue up in front of an Apple store in San Jose, CA at 4:00 a.m. today in order to get one. (He did say that Jobs had offered to send him one but that it wouldn't arrive until Saturday. "This is more a celebration," he said.)

Aw, the great and powerful Cher will have to wait in line with the unwashed..

Boo-freaking-hoo.

I'm not doling that kind of cash (which I don't have anyway) for a stupid phone. Unless it can teleport, it's not worth it to me. Besides, I never have liked Apple products. I hate their computers.

I have a nice phone, I have a nice iPod, and I have a pretty fricking expensive laptop with wireless internet that I take with me everywhere... I'm not paying over $1,000 for a phone.

If it comes to Canada under Rogers Wireless and the plans don't start at $60 per month or whatever, I'll get one. Maybe. But for now I'm looking at random pictures and reviews of it and it looks so cool.

Maybe the second generation iPhone will have a better price / higher storage capabilities. 8GB when you have lots of music, videos, saved text messages, emails and stuff can go fast. Right now I only have 1.95GB of music, but with videos and the operating system of the iPhone I won't have a whole lot of room to double my collection, which grows fast.

A friend of mine got one over the weekend and I saw it on Sunday night. I'ts a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Very cool looking. The scrolling menus are very nice.

Sadly, he was still having connection problems, so we couldn't actually call anyone or surf the web.

But it looks cool.

I dont even have a cel phone....I dont have the money for all these useless gadgets, nor do I see the need to make Steve Jobs ( or whoever runs Apple now ) any richer than he already is!
