I was looking at The Family Matters Episode Guide and the order of the shows don't match the ABC Family Schedule. Does anybody know why?

They're going in order, but skipping episodes, probably because a lot of the episodes are running low on airplays, and they can't air them all consecutively. Just a month ago they were airing season 5, and now they're already on season 9, so they have to be skipping majority of the episodes.

No they are going really fast though. On weekday afternoons, they air two episodes and repeat them the next weekday or Saturday morning at 7AM. However, the Sunday morning and Monday Morning episodes are not repeated again. The Monday afternoon airing is two new episodes. So from Sunday to Monday afternoon, you have 4 episodes that aren't aired repeated. That's why Season 9 is already being aired. ABC Family is really overplaying the show. One season worth of episode doesn't even take up two weeks of the schedule. I have been closely monitoring this current cycle of Family Matters and all the episodes have been played.

Also in a week or so after the series finale, watch ABCFM play two Season 3 episodes and then go back to the first episode. I saw this on TVGUIDE.

What about the fact that the episodes with Steve's look a like dummy are NOT on ABC Family? It should be on soon. I saw it years ago when TBS ran 4 episodes every Saturday between 8:00AM-10:00AM.

Oh I know what you mean. You are thinking about the Christmas and Halloween episodes. They skip these episodes on ABC Family during regular airing cycles. Now, say for instance we're talking about the Halloween episodes...About two or three days before Halloween, the regular cycle of episodes breaks and they show the Halloween episodes. Same for Christmas. That's where the Stevil (Steve's dummy) comes in. Those were both Halloween episodes. Look for them in October. This annoys me too. If you miss the holiday episodes, you have to wait a year to see them again.

No, they're probably airing tohse season 3 episodes befor ethe begin a new cycle because those episodes have a lot of airplays left, so by airing them out of order, an airplay will be taken up. Just because Sunday/Monday morning episodes are not repeats doesn't mean they should be going this fast. Plus, if that was the reason, then Boy Meets World wouldn't be going as fast either. It just returned to its 3-4pm slot a month ago, and already going into season 4. The reason has go to be low airplays for both shows.
