I was watching a few episodes yesterday evening, and I noticed every time Sondra kissed Cliff, it was like they were husband and wife or something! LOL - it's very hard to explain. She would put her arms around his neck and kiss him on the lips, and it grossed me out because they were father and daughter. Has anyone else every noticed this?

I have noticed that Bill does kiss a lot on the lips of his female costars. Not counting Claire, because she is playing his wife.

Nope never noticed that, I'm 26 and I still kiss my dad on his lips, I see nothing wrong with that. Now if the kiss last a little too long and it's opened mouth then I can see why it would be strange.

I used to kiss my late father on the lips too. Or on the cheek. I never put my arms around him though when I did that. My hand would rest on his shoulder.

I know that Cliff did kiss his daughters on the lips, but I would have to watch the show a lot closer to see the arms around him thing. Maybe it just happens so fast that I never paid attention to it.

I just don't see the big deal, unless her arms were on his ass. My mind just don't go in that direction of nastiness lol

I'm sorry everyone!

I don't remember the episode (I'm pretty sure it was in season 3 or 4) that just made me had to post this. I know that people still kiss their fathers on the lips, and I don't see anything wrong with that. It's just that this time Sondra had her arms around him, and it was disgusting for me to watch, considering they were father/daughter.

It was only in a few episodes, but I thought I'd bring it up.

You aren't trying to suggest that something was going on behind the scenes

Not at all! It was just on the show, and it looked like something Cliff and Clair would do, not Cliff and his daughter!

I never saw anything gross about the way Cliff kissed his daughters.

I just saw in the ep-"Monster Man Huxtable" that Sondra kissed her dad with her arms around his neck on his the lips. And I agree it didn't look right, looked more like a HUSBAND/WIFE kiss

That's the episode I'm talking about. I was trying to find the title somewhere, but I just couldn't place a finger on it.

I think it happened again in Sondra's first episode in season 1 "Bonjour, Sondra" when they're in the kitchen trying to persuade Cliff that Sondra should go to Paris or somewhere like that.
