Anyway, well my DVD Avenue, "Complete All-203 Episode Father Knows Best Set" has arrived. (Via CanadaPost.)

Just came in so I haven't had a chance to view anything, but the set is enormous. 25 DVDS! All in broken cases. :crazy:

As a long-time collector and FKB trader, I know just how much work goes into putting together a complete season, let alone a complete series. So congrats to DVD Avenue for actually expediting this kind of thing. (A congratulations I will withdraw if it turns out that what I have here is instead "Young Asian Cuties" #1-25.) (Actually. . .)

Will report back on what episodes I do have, which are missing(if any), quality of the shows, running times, intros, etc.

BTW, I was wondering. What is the Third Season opening? Is it the one where they all gather around the livingroom couch?

Yes. It was never on any syndication print. It shows Copyright MCMLVI Screen Gems.

The 'real' 4th/5th season openers (with correct audio and w/o shot of house) are not on any syndication print. These show Copyright MCMLVII/MCMLVIII Screen Gems.

The 'real' 6th season opener (again, with correct audio (updated music) and w/o shot of house) is only on 2 syndication prints. These show Copyright MCMLIX Screen Gems/MCMLX FKB Ent.

The 4th/5th season opener music is different from any other FKB theme (although it's the same melody).

If you have traded for any network prints you have undoubtedly seen and heard these.
