Hey to all of you computer guys out there. I had a problem a couple days ago that I don't seem to be able to fix. The taskbar on my computer with the start button, date time etc. Is on the top of my computer screen i don't know what i had moved. I have had this happen before and i was able to fix it. But I don't remember what to do. Does anyone know what I am talking about and have any suggestions on getting it back to normal. Any help would be greatly appreciated:

THanks ya'll.....Chris

Like Courtnee mentioned, you can just drag and drop down. If that doesn't work, then your taskbar settings have been set to "lock." If the latter is the case, you can just right-click on your taskbar > uncheck "Lock the taskbar" > then, drag it down.

THat doesn't work. The start button etc. is on the top of the screen and you can only drag it down to about half of the screen. I want to flip it so it is back on the bottom like it belongs. Hope somebody konws what I"m talking about.

Can you create a screenshot so we can take a look at it? This might be a little more helpful. :)

Yes, I am willing to help! I didn't mean to just post a screenshot just because. That's why I asked if you can create a screenshot of it...to take a look at it visually and then help you. :p

Ohhhh...okay, I can see what's going on here. I have saved your image and have added some color-coded instructions on how to get it done. What happened was that your taskbar is simply expanded. Nothing more. Firstly, place your cursor at the bottom edge of your taskbar and drag up (yes, drag up for now...) until your taskbar is the normal one-line length as I mentioned in your screenshot diagram below.

After that, drag the middle of an empty area of your taskbar and drag all the way down to the screen.
