View Full Version : My Boyfriend's Liver

My boyfriend has to go on Thursday the 28th for a biopsy of his liver.
For a long time now, he goes every year or so to have it checked because he has (Hepatitis B) but not the disease; he's a carrier of the virus.
So, as a precaution; he gets it checked out and everything.

I got vaccinated in the beginning when we started out and so far; I'm doing ok and everything but eventually I will have to go back and get it done again.
He was told just a little while back that if he doesn't lose enough weight that they will have to do a biopsy in case he's diabetic or something else is not right with it.

Of course, he's nervous and everything. I will be going with him for moral support. Just to remind some of you; he lost his oldest brother to liver cancer in August of 2005 and his other brother (the second oldest) has the same condition as my boyfriend so it makes us think and wonder.

Please, say a prayer for him that he will be just fine and everything.
I love him so much and want him to be around for a very long time.

Thank You!!

I'm really sorry. :( My dad has a liver problem too and he goes through the same stuff, but he's always made it out of surgeries and procedures fine. I'll keep your BF in my thoughts and prayers. :) :bighug:

I'm happy to say that all went well; so far so good. He has some pain and discomfort but overall; he's just fine (thank god).
