I'm new here - I'm a recently resurrected Brady Brunch fan - I got the whole set in the fake grass-covered "box" and am enjoying myself a lot so far! I think I've seen ALL the eposides except for one.

One thing that has bothered me... in the "Father of the Year" eposide, do you think after Mike gets the article and the attention from the press, is Marcia still punished? That was never indicated.

Did Marcia have her braces at that time? If so, obviously a couple of lead wires hooked her up to 220 volts at the house for the punishment of her young life! lol

It seems to be implied that she was "paroled" from any remaining punishment. But was that only because her essay won? What if it hadn't, and then she told the family why she neglected chores and snuck out down the trellis? BTW was it actually mentioned that the kid couldn't tell his/her father about entering the contest, or was that just Marcia's idea?

Yeah, I'm sure he lifted the punishment since he won, I mean what kind of a jerk would he be if he had said, "Marcia, I'm glad you think of me as father of the year and entered me into the contest, but I'm afraid the punishment must stick. We are all going skiing, but you have to stay home." :lol: To answer your question tdr, I believe it was Marcia's idea to keep it a secret, probably just incase he didn't win.
