It is driving me crazy, I have been watching this show for a couple years and not once have they ever mentioned Boomhauer's first name that I have seen or what he does for a living.

Betty His first name is listed as Jeff but it is never mentioned on the show. It is not told exactly what he does for a living. It is mentioned in one episode that he is an electrician on worker's compensation.
