Hey everybody, my mom and I just got back from the doctor a little bit ago. For those who don't know, we had a little scare recently, as an abnormality showed up on her mamogram from a week ago. Thankfully, it doesn't look like it's cancer, but just a little spot, or possibly a little scar tissue from her heart surgery last year. It is definitely a huge weight lifted off of my mom's, and the whole families shoulders. The doctors are going to keep an eye on it though, just incase it grows or something, but they are pretty sure that it's nothing serious. :) I just want to thank all of you who had my mom in your thoughts and/or prayers, and let you know that I truly appreciate your guys' kindness beyond words!!! My mom also wanted me to thank you all for her, and let you know how touched, and thankful she is for all your prayers!! It totally made her day to know that so many people who have never even met her could care so much about her, and it made mine as well. You guys' are truly awesome!!! :cool:

To Tara: My mom wanted to send a very special thank you to you for not only praying for her over the last couple days, but for your constant love and prayers you've shown her over the years. She wanted me to tell you that she loves you, and that your mom will definitely be in her prayers too!! :)

My sister went through something similar a few years ago and I know those few days waiting for the results can seem like the longest, most stressful time ever. Thankfully it was nothing.

Yeah, it was definitely tough. My mom has had so many medical problems over the last few years, including two heart surgeries within a 7 day period, so I'm sure you can imagine my elation when I heard that she was okay. Thank you very much for your kind words and consideration AndAwayWeGo, it's sooo appreciated. I'm glad everything turned out okay with your sister as well!! :)

Awwww, you are so awesome Irene, thank you soooooo much. :hug: I am so thankful to God that I have a friend like you, who is always there for me. And I want you to know that God heard your prayer, because both my mom and I were very calm and at ease all day today, and just knew in our hearts that everything was going to be okay. This was actually the best day I've had in months, and I know that that's because of good friends like you sending prayers, and good vibes my families way. :) I love you Irene, and I thank you for being such a great friend!! Brad, I'm really glad to hear that your mom doesn't have cancer. I hope that she health improves and that she will be feeling better soon. I know how stressful it can be knowing your mom has health problems. I can relate to that feeling. :hug:

Brad, that is the best news I've heard in a while! I had a scare on a mamogram a couple of years ago. Turned out to be a false alarm but was the longest two weeks of my life.
