L&S had lost cindy williams and HD lost Two key cast members so even though both of those season were bad, i would watch L&S over HD because L&S didn;t try to add tons of new characters, they just stuck with who was left while HD added 2 or 3 news cast members which makes it hard for me to watch any ep of HD after the 1980-81 season

I'll pick Happy Days season 8 over L&S cause, for me it was painful watching L&S without Shirley. I could deal with the additional cast members of HD.

Season 7 Happys Days we finally got to see Jenny Piccolo.
If my memory serves me well. The episode of L&S (S 9) where Laverne is in a convent and forced to be silent was one of the funniest episodes without Shirley.

I haven't watched Happy Days since I was really little, and hardly remember it, and I love Laverne & Shirley, so I pick that....Their final season was pretty bad though. BAD.

I stopped watching Happy Days when Richie left, but, the show had already JTS when it became "The Fonzie show" in about season 3 or 4.....The one thing you can say for Laverne and Shirley is: At least they never added Ted McGinley! ;)

I never really watched L&S, so I pick Happy Days Season 7 because I like the later seasons and I like the new characters on it.

Season 8 of Happy Days, hands down. What were they thinking trying to continue L&S WITHOUT Shirley!??

Happy Days. L&S season 8 was virtually unwatchable.

1980-81 is season eight of Happy Days.
L&S should've been re-titled Laverne for the last season, because that's pretty much what it was. Weren't Betty Garrett and Michael McKean gone by this point?? Or at the very least, they didn't finish the season.
