Apparently Paris is set to play Ginger in a Gilligan's Island movie.

I actually think she might be good for the part. Ginger was supposed to be some sort of a shallow airhead afterall, wasn't she?;)

There has been talk about a GI movie for almost 20 years, I will believe it when I see it.

Yeah, this is the first time I heard anything about a new GI movie, so this is probably all just tabloid rumors as of now.

Why must they make movies out of TV shows???
Have we not learned from Bewitched and The Dukes of Hazzard and all the other horrible ones???

They were on the island for 15 years. I don't know how you can have a 2 hour script with only 7 people.

I liked how they did The Brady Bunch Movie, and The Fugitive is an excellent film.

I like Those movies too but they were made so many years ago. So many bad ones have been made since then. I don't think the movie studios care about the fans of these shows anymore. They just want a quick buck with a familiar name attached to them.

I will start to worry when I hear that the news about the movie is true. There's been rumors about it for years and it never been made so...Keep smiling :D

yea; movie ideas can float around Hollywood for years sometimes before someone actually does something. And even when they start making a movie; that's still no guarantee that it'll "see the light of day".

True. And even when those movies came out they were making bad theatrical versions of TV shows(Beverly Hillbillies, Leave it to Beaver), and really those were the only two examples of good versions I could think of:happyface

Maybe if the Millionare brought his daughter instead of his wife, that could be Paris. :D
