Opening and Closing credits because you never know what unseen footage you may see that was never shown in syndication. For example, I never saw the Highway Scene in the closing credits of Welcome Back Kotter until watching the DVD. The Highway scene was shown before the Brooklyn Sign. So TV FANS make sure you watch every second of the opening credits for TV shows from back in the day because it may see something that is "brand new old"-lol

Yup, a lot of closing credits are cut out in syndication.

And in one instance, Sony forgot to take out another studios' closing credit music in the Jeff Foxworthy DVD. lol!

Yes, that was shown during the channel 11 NYC broadcasts a couple years back

Yes, it was shown during its first run and also during syndication at least once. There were times when the closing scenes were cut very short and other times when it was extended. I never knew why that was. I could see if it was because of extra credits rolling, but that wasn't the case.
