He made the ST ep The Mark of Gideon that year with guest David Hurst (sp?) later of Dark Shadows. Hurst was probably frightening to be with as was Conrad Bain (also of Dark Shadows) was to Maclean Stevenson when they did Diff'rent Strokes eps later (see MASH board for more on this). But Shatner is happily still alive, well and active so I guess Hurst didn't affect him so badly. Good for you Shat!
