I've always found Full House quite interesting in that it really doesn't have a consensus great or weak season

Myself, I'd personally say season 4 is my favourite, and probably go with season 8 as least, although to me there really is very little difference between the seasons in terms of quality.

I agree with what you said but me personally though, I really hate when shows add tons of characters, like they did in Full House, and its obvious they did it because they had no other ideas. However, full house is one of the rare shows that after many character additions was still good. Shows like Family Matters and Boy Meets World added more characters which led to its jumping the shark imo. That's why I usually like the first 4-5 seasons of shows best.

Agreed -- and Full House started off with a large cast to begin with. Rebecca was a good addition, that was about it. Though you do need to add some new faces to keep things fresh too. I think that was huge for the long-term watchability of a show like Cheers, for example.

Also, you mention jumping the shark -- would most agree that Full House never really did jump the shark?

EDIT - in relation to this thread, is the ratings history of FH available anywhere on the net? I'm curious to see what seasons were the strongest.

The closer they are to the 1st season, the worse. The closer to the last, the better.

I like them all too, though I prefer the earlier seasons than, like, the last three.

I've always liked seasons 4 & 6.

The first seasons were the best because Michelle was too young to talk. :lol: (Yeah, I know that was a cheap shot.) The later ones just got more and more ridiculous - what with Jesse's ever changing last name, no one ever getting their own place, etc.

I don't really think any of the seasons are the worst, but probably season 1 is my least favorite. I don't really like it much when Nicky and Alex are on there either. They are brats. Worse that Michelle.

The First Season is my favorite. The 5th Season is my least favorite.
