I'm not too sure but I hope The Lucy Show is here before the year is over.

Does Paramount own the rights to these too? If so, I'd say there's a good possibility we'll see them on DVD in the near future...well, at least The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy. I've never seen an episode of Life With Lucy, but from what I've heard, only 8 of 13 filmed episodes aired before it was cancelled. I've also heard that Audrey Meadows was cast as Lucy's sister, which is something I'd love to see. Hopefully, if they decide to put Life With Lucy on DVD, they will include the 5 episodes that never aired.

yes from what www.tvshowsondvd.com is reporting Paramount owns all the rights. i have a bootleg copy of the 13 episodes of LWL. it was fun. i barely remember it on tv but it needs to be released too.

I hope that the feature-length movie of ILL gets released before The Lucy Show, in a seperare release and not what was done with all 8 seasons of Andy Griffith with the Return to Mayberry movie added.

I don't have an email for Paramount, sorry. I would suggest the website, but since you already tried that and it didn't work .... darn companies know we'd flood their inboxes! If anyone out there has an idea (what about one of those online petitions? We could let the museum in Jamestown know what was happening and then they could include the link in one of their emails maybe?)

thats a good idea but i am unsure on how the online petitions work.
i know i've seen millions of them but i do not know how the info gets relayed.

I don't think an online petition would get us anywhere, and I don't think we even need to do anything like that just yet. Paramount just put out The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, they're probably working on The Lucy Show as we speak (as well as the I Love Lucy movie). After that, I'm sure we'll see Here's Lucy on DVD...I mean, it's been released on VHS, so why not DVD? Life With Lucy is the only one I'd be concerned about, because, as far as I know, it never even made it to VHS. I for one would like to see the few episodes that were filmed, especially knowing Lucy & Audrey Meadows shared the screen together, but seeing as how Paramount has been releasing Lucy's work on DVD in chronological order up to this point, I don't think we should be worried about that for the time being. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best...if we need a petition in the future, I'll be the first to sign.
