---Girls' Bedroom---
Blair: Hey guess what JO?
Jo: You finally realized that your wardrobe is out of date!?! (laughs)
Blair: No!! that won't ever happen to Blair Warner! No JO, i got you something (hides book behing back)
Jo: Oh really!? you got me something!? (says cheerfully) Why! (3rd degrees Blair)
Nat: can't Blair be nice to you for once?
Jo: NO!!
Blair: Fine by me if you don't want to know....
Jo: Ok Blair... What is it?
Blair: Oh nothing except... (pulls book from behing back and gives it to Jo) I got this book on bikes for you
Jo: Oh really!?! (flips through book) Wow! Look at the '76 Honda in here! (sits on bed and looks at it)
Blair: You're welcome... (sarcastically)
Jo: Oh, yea, yea, thanks (not really hearing Blair)
Nat: Puts clothes away while JO looks through book
Blair: (starts to paint) JO, how do you like my painting?
Jo: (looks quickly) I hate it!! (goes back to book)
Blair: well of course you do!! you have no taste!! i mean (smiles) look at those clothes!! you couldnt get a date anywhere!!
JO: BLAIR!! there is nothign wrong with my clothes!! infact, mine are better! theyre not tacky like yours!!
Blair: Lets get some real taste! Natalie, what do you think of my painting?
Nat: oh blair!! its georgious!! How can you paint such a beautiful garden?
Blair: (tosses hair) its just a talent!! Beauty runs with beauty!!
Jo: Dont mind me while i barf!! (sticks finger in mouth as if makign the barfing sign)
Blair: Turn Blue!! (says very snooty and at a slower pace)
Jo: Bite me!!!! (says exactly how blair said it, snooty and slow)
Blair: well natalie (looks at nat) Im thinking of putting this in the art show what do you think? (puts finishign touches on it)
Nat: Blair it'll be great!! enter it!! enter it!! (goes back to putting clothes away)
Tootie: (walks in and sighs) why today!?!?
Blair: what's wrong with today? My hair look the greatest as usual! (puffs hair with hand)
Jo: yea like somebody barfed in it! (sarcastically smiles)
Blair: oh jo stop talking about yourself!! its getting rather old!! (looks at jo)
Tootie: I just entered... womanhood! (says sadly and bummed outly)
Nat: Tootie... waht are you talking about?
Blair: (looks at Jo expressing uh-oh on face)
Jo: Tootie don't worry everything will be ok... come on lets go (grabs Tootie's shoulder to bring her out of room)
Tootie: (turns around) Oh... and uh... can we keep this between us?
Blair: yea...
Nat: yea... (puzzled look) sure... mmmhhhmmm...
Tootie: Please don't tell Mrs. Garrett ok!?! (walks out with Jo)
Nat: What is Tootie talking about?
Blair: Well Nat she got... (nods head motioning like you know type of thing)
Nat: Oh... OHHH!!! But she's only 13!
Blair: How old were you?
Nat: I was 13 too I guess
Blair: You could get it at any age you know...

Blair, Nat, Jo and Tootie: (walk in)
Mrs. G: Hi girls! How was your day?
Blair: Guess who won first prize in teh art show?!? (has painting in her hands and sets it on the table to show everyone)
Mrs. G: let me guess... (ponders) you!!!???!!!
Blair: sure Did!! (smiles) i guess everyone liked me!!
Mrs. G: Your gardon is beautiful!! look at all thsoe flowers and even a little water fountain in the middle (smiles)
JO: Blair the didnt like YOU, they liked your painting!!
Blair: How do you know?!?! YOu dont even know beauty when you see it!!
Jo: see it!?!?!? where!?!?!?! where!?!?!?! (looks aroudn the room for "beauty")
Blair: (sigsh) SOme people!!! (turns back to painting) dont you just love the way i captured the roses in the back!?!?
Mrs. G: yes blair its very beautiful!! (smiles and looks at tootie) tootie you're so quiet!! (smiels) how was your day?
Tootie: Well you know... we got a lot of homework... that i should be getting to... I'm gonna go do my homeowrk in my room so se you later, call me when its almost dinner.. bye! (runs out)
Mrs. G: wahts wrong with her?
Blair: we're not supposed to tell you... (looks at painting to amke sure its still perfect)
Nat: yea sorry Mrs. Garrett, she told us not to tell you...
Mrs. G: (puzzled look) well waht could possibly be that bad!?!?
Jo: Look Mrs. G, she's really... (tries to find a word) embarassed... and doesnt want us to tell you!
Blair: Well, you know JO, Mrs. Garrett does have a right to know... I mean she sticks her nose into all of our other buisness!
Mrs. G: thanks Blair! (sarcastically)
Jo: Blair!! Cool it, your not telling!!
Blair, well she has a right know! I mean we all have experienced it!! And Mrs. Garrett knows about that!! (gets up from painting and walks by mrs. g) Look Mrs. Garrett Tootie entered womanhood today... if you know what I mean...
Mrs. G: Oh... I see, well there is nothing to be embarassed about... It happens to all girls, and did I not say that you guys could come to me without being embarassed or afraid?
Jo: yea, but there are somethings you can't help being embarassed about!
Mrs. G: well, I better go talk to her...
Jo: If Tootie asks who told you say that Blair squeeled... Like a Pig!!
Blair: We Warner women are not pigs!!
Mrs. G: Don't worry about it Jo! (makes the motion of zipping lips)
Nat: hey jo can you help me with spanish? (walks over by jo with spanish book and notebook)
JO: sure what is it?
Nat: I need help with how to say, let me borrow your shoes!
Jo: Like youre ever gonna ask that to somebody!! come on!!!
Nat: Jo!!!
Jo: Ok! Ok! (writes the answer on nats paper)
Nat: Thank you!! thats all i ask!!
JO: Wonder if tootie will be ok with mrs. g knowing (looks at blair and shouts) BLAIR!!!
Blair: what!?!? I mean we told Mrs. Garrett when this happened to us! and then she always ate a whole carton of ice cream and took us to a movie!! A girls night out!! Its a tradition!!
JO: But tootie probably feels out of place, i mean i was the first to start the tradition and i felt the most out of place than you 2 put together! But the funny thing was so was mrs. garrett!! it was the first tiem she had to deal with this happening to soemone... she was funny though!! she was more nervous than me!! but the fact is that we all were embarrassed and so will tootie!!
Blair: well at least tootie can look forward to a movie! her and mrs. garrett were planning to go see a movie anyways! me and mrs. garrett had a lot of fun that night!! we stayed up, ate a whole carton of ice cream and laughed all night long, i never laughed so hard in my life, I will never forget it!!
Nat: Me niether!! Mrs. garrett and I got hit on by these 2 guys (laughs really hard) you shoudl ahve saw the look on hre face!! i laughed sooo hard that i scared them away!! (laughs) oh well!! then we came back and stayed up all night watchign old movies, laughing, talking, eating ice cream, and having soo much fun!! It was a lot of fun!!!
Jo: (laughs) Mrs. Garrett didnt know waht we shoudl do so she asked me and i said i felt liek a good movie and a carton of ice cream... she took me to see soem really dumb movie and when we got back tootie and natalie ate all our ice cream!!!! (looks at nat)
Nat: hahaha... sorry jo!!
Jo: But we made cookie dough and had a great tiem makign it!! we had flour all over ourselves!!! and then we went in the lounge and sat under blankets all night talking and eating the cookie dough... it was a lot of fun just talkign liek friends, not like she was my supervisor and an adult, liek two friends, i really had a new respect for her after that night!! (smiles)

---Girls' Bedroom---

Mrs. G: (walks in) Hey Tootie! how you feeling?
Tootie: Mrs. Garrett I really don't wanna talk right now (opens book) I have a lot of homework and...
Mrs. G: (interupts) I know why your trying to avoid me...
Tootie: You do? (IN a hopping voice that Mrs. Garrett doesnt know and keeps looking down at book)
Mrs. G: Yes, Tootie, there's nothing to be embarassed about!
Tootie: (keeps looking at book)
Mrs. G: (Lifts Tootie's head up to look her in the face) Tootie, it's ok everything will be fine, I'm just wondering, why did you aks the girls to this a secret from me? It's just a fact of life!
Tootie: Becuase... (gets up and sits at the end of Blair's bed)
Mrs. G: (sits next to Tootie)
Tootie: It's really embarassing and you're older so you dont understand!
mrs. G: Don't understand!! When I was growing up my brothers always made fun of me it! My mother believed in the "deal with if yourself" system, so I had nobody to turn to... and my friends weren't at that time in their life yet! So believe me Tootie! I understand completely. I was there too once!! (comforts Tootie) But i got used to it... and you will get used to it after a while too, and one day you'll even appritiate it!
Tootie: Appritiate it!?!? I don't think i'll ever appritiate it, but one day, i'll get used to it and accept it.. I hope!
Mrs. G: Hey waht do you say we go have our traditional girls night out? huh!?!? (smiesl)
Tootie: sure! (smiles) thats the only thing ive looked forward to in this whole thing!! Blair, Jo, and Nat said they had soooo much fun!!! and that it really took their minds off of things and jsut had a... girls night out!! (smiles and laughs)
Mrs. G: (gets up, goes to the door opens it)
Tootie: Mrs. Garrett?
Mrs. G: (turns around) yea Tootie?
Tootie: I'm glad that you know and... thanks!!
Mrs. G: (smiles) You're growing up before my very own eyes!
Tootie: (smiles)
Mrs. G: Come on... what movie do you want to see?
Tootie: umm... I dont know, can we just stay here and watch old movies liek you and nat did?
Mrs. G: (laughs a little) Sure!! wahtever you want!! and your right one time cuz i just baught a fresh new carton of ice cream!!
tootie: Great!! I could really use some!!
Mrs. G: come on!! lets go veg out on the couch in the lounge!! (smies)
Tootie: Ok!! (smiels)
Mrs. G: (puts arm around tootie as they head out the door)
