When Flo is sitting there handcuffed to the chair, she contemplates going out, she looks at the phone and you hear in the supposed audience "uh oh" and then a quick giggle. Any avid I Love Lucy fan will tell you that "uh oh" is heard a handful of times in various I Love Lucy episodes, usually when it is quiet and Lucy is abt to do something she shouldn't. I have never found out why that is inserted into ILL (and of course now Alice) if there is a live studio audience.

I wonder how many other shows have this "uh oh" in the background?

Why don't you think it was just someone in the audience? I just always thought such moments were from one or two people in the audience quick to grasp what's about to happen (I'm quick on the draw too, but I don't "uh-oh" at home, lol).

While we're on the subject of this episode, I didn't like the ending. I HATE left-open endings (good thing I'm not a "Sopranos" fan, huh? lol). It would have been great to see or hear of how she handled herself cuffed to the chair at the concert, lol. But really, Flo should have been intelligent enough to tell Bubba to bring somethin' to the concert to get the cuffs off her (hacksaw, etc.).

Like I said, if you are a fan of I Love Lucy, you will know that exact sound being made is the SAME ONE. It is not a similar sound. It is the same one person. I have seen I Love Lucy a zillion times, which is why I stated that fans of ILL will recognize that "uh oh" with that little giggle right after because it was done on ILL several times on different episodes.

You can kinda hear it on Vera's Popcorn Romance too, right at the end (before Alice says "Mind your own business, sweethart")...maybe it has something to do with the producers on Alice being the same people who did ILL :)
