View Full Version : What tv shows that lasted no more than one season would you like to see on DVD? mlingerfelt 06-11-2007, 08:51 PM here is my top 5 1. Man From Atlantis. 2. James at 15 3. Serpico. 4. Grady 5. Cop and the Kid. It aired on ABC during the 1994-95 season. I really liked it and was sorry to see it cancelled. Robert 13 06-12-2007, 12:25 PM One in a Million (Shirley Hemphill) Square Pegs The Ropers (1 1/2 seasons) Three's A Crowd Gloria Zoneboy 06-12-2007, 01:34 PM Ghost Story/Circle of Fear Here Come the Double Deckers Hotel De Paree (1 1/2 seasons) Lottery$ Supertrain The Amazing Spider-man The Hot L Baltimore The Immortal When Things Were Rotten Wildside catlover79 06-12-2007, 01:39 PM Manimal  Magnum 06-12-2007, 02:25 PM Three's a Crowd Working Stiffs Breaking Away I thought Three's a Crowd made it for 2 seasons? My vote would go for Driven, the series Fox cancelled after 5 episodes. I was addicted to that show and am pissed it is gone. Why introduce a show, get people hooked, and then pull the plug? At least let the show run the full season!!! pruehalliwell 06-13-2007, 09:58 AM i would like to see rags to riches ( i know it was like a seaosn and a half or so but i would like to see it come out on dvd angel676 06-13-2007, 12:19 PM I'm not sure if it was only one season, but I would like to see Just The Ten of Us on dvd. Count me in for Rags to Riches, I use to like that show. catlover79 06-13-2007, 12:30 PM I'm not sure if it was only one season, but I would like to see Just The Ten of Us on dvd. Count me in for Rags to Riches, I use to like that show. Just The Ten Of Us ran 2 seasons, but that's another show I'd like to see on DVD. Coach Lubbock reminded me a lot of my dad, both in looks and personality. Nighthawk76 06-13-2007, 01:52 PM Square Pegs LizaDaisy 06-13-2007, 03:06 PM Enocore.Encore Golden Palace Eric Paddon 06-13-2007, 05:49 PM Ellery Queen (1975-76) Lottery (1983-84) Amazing Spiderman (1978-79) Project UFO (1978-79) (two half seasons actually) Cliffhangers (1979) Supertrain (1979) (Just to profile as a colossal study in waste. Heck this deserves a DVD release more than "Pink Lady And Jeff" did!) Honey West (1965-66) (Might be coming out later this year) Slightly more than one season: Goodnight Beantown (1983-84) Operation Petticoat (1977-78) catlover79 06-13-2007, 06:04 PM ^ They should put Supertrain, David Cassidy: Man Undercover and Pink Lady & Jeff in one big boxset under the title: "Fred Silverman's Reign As Head of NBC". To top off the cheesiness, throw in Manimal as a bonus. Zoneboy 06-13-2007, 06:45 PM Project UFO (1978-79) Whoa! Someone other than myself remembers Project UFO? Great choices on all the others as well. Eric Paddon 06-13-2007, 07:55 PM Whoa! Someone other than myself remembers Project UFO? Great choices on all the others as well. LOL, I didn't so much "remember" it (was aware of it when it was first on) as get interested in it thanks to a boot set of DVDs. I liked Season 1 with William Jordan as Major Gatlin and the original theme music but the show IMO tanked bad when Jordan left and they brought in Ed Winter and changed the music as well. Skywalker 06-13-2007, 08:24 PM The Amazing Spider-man I can't believe I forgot to add that to my list. I thought Three's a Crowd made it for 2 seasons? Nope, it only lasted for one season (22 episodes). :) Mr. Television 06-13-2007, 08:31 PM Three's A Crowd. mlingerfelt 06-13-2007, 09:51 PM I might Baby I,m Back. tanquant 06-14-2007, 09:43 PM My brother and Me buggsrabbit 06-15-2007, 05:38 PM Square Pegs The Chicago Teddy Bears The Don Knotts Show That's Life mlingerfelt 06-15-2007, 11:04 PM also Sanford Arms catlover79 06-15-2007, 11:26 PM Open All Night, starring George Dzundza (aka Chris Noth's first partner on L&O, and Christina Applegate's dad on Jesse). As for me, although its been on as a summer replacement for about 4 years, id love to see PBS's "The History Detectives" on DVD< While its played more than one season, theres less than 30 eps, so i think you can make an exception here....please? ( Makes puppy eyes @_@ ) treky 06-23-2007, 03:03 AM although these weren't on for just one season; I'd like to see-After Mash; and Remember WENN. And also History Detectives.
