Please, say a prayer for two of my close friends' who each have a parent that is slowly dying from cancer. My childhood friend who I grew up with since kindergarten/elementary lost her father quite some time ago to cancer and now is losing her mother. My other friend who I met in elementary is losing her father. It's not fair; I lost my late mother to cancer also.

Please, keep them in your thoughts and prayers through this really hard time.

Thank You!!

:(

The cancer has spread everywhere (stomach, brain, liver,
pancreas etc...) and his original cancer (lymphoma) is also back. They will
schedule radio-therapy to avoid him being paralized and will insert a tube in
his liver to elimiate the byle which is not happening now due a a large
tumour crushing his liver. If this is not taken care of, it could poison him
and take his life sooner than it should. They also advised us that if his
heart should give out, they will not re-animate him due to the complications
it would cause him afterwards.

He is remaining in the hospital for now, until he has his
radio-therapy and will determine at that point if he can return home at which
point, they will arrange for some home care to give me a hand with all this.
There is a possibility that he will not return home at all, it will all
depend on his general state after the radio-therapy.

Well, here's the latest on her father; he will be transferred to palliative care soon, he won't be going home at all so the end is near for him. :(

Well, he passed away this past Monday (Aug. 27th) and today is the viewing.
Towards the end; he was suffering alot so at least now he's at peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family thru this hard time.

Well, now my other friend who I grew up with is losing her mother.
She lost her father to cancer back in 1991, I think it was; can't remember.
Now she's losing her mother to cancer too along with other complications.
It's just a matter of time now; I'm waiting for her call either tonight or any day now. I feel so bad for her; it's not fair. Please, say a prayer.
