That's true. Him and Fred had the same personalites are far as black dudes hating whites and always full of schemes, not to mention at odds with two big-mouth black women, Fred probably would have been too poor for George.

i could see George being friends with Fred in the 80s more then the 70s.

Yeah he george looked down on poor people so he would have never been cool with fred because it would have reminded him too much of the old days

Sherman Hemsley actually thought he was being cast for Sanford and Son when he was called by Norman Lear.

It would be nice to see that, but they have nothing in common. James was poor and proud, and George was rich and snobby.
