Second only to an actual DVD release, this is the best thing that could happen w/ DW. :) I'm very excited. Thanks for the heads up, Pav! :D

An excellent decision on Ion's part. They might be able to create the "classic TV" network that is so depserately needed today.

Don't count your Sugarbaker interiors before they're designed, y'all.
I don't know if you've watched much ION, but they show very poor prints of "Alice" and "Amen"---and we viewers know there are much better prints out there. I'm not a fan of "Amen", but I've seen it on TV One, and it is MUCH better quality on there than on ION.
And "Alice" is so dark and drab and lifeless-looking---not like the brighter, more vibrant shows that TNT used to air.
Not to mention, they butcher up the episodes with so much editing that they're a mess.
So while it's great someone is showing DW again, it may not be that great overall---we'll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, Nick @ Nite is airing DW 4 days a week at 5 am---check your guide for days and episodes. :)

I think they are showing the syndicated versions of the show. I actually enjoy watching them on ION than I have Lifetime and N@N. I have only watched two episodes so far, "Miss Trial" and "The Bachelor Auction" and I noticed that in the first one, there is a cut when Julia calls Charlene a "big donkey girl scout" and talks about the bladder pads on the phone, as well as a portion of the cassette grab where Charlene is tossing things to Suzanne. Plus, the syndicated theme is playing, so there's thirty seconds there. I heard the episodes throughout its run was around 23 minutes, give or take a few seconds, so we've never been seeing really badly butchered episodes.
I saw "Heart Attacks" and both the Lifetime and N@N versions cut the scene where Charlene and Mary Jo do the coin toss to speak at the eulogy, and the bit with Anthony entering the hospital is cut on ION.
