The movie was Waxworks made in Germany in 1923 or 24. It was about a statue of Jack the Ripper which comes to life and tries to kill like the Martin Balsam TZ ep. Perhaps where the writers of the New Exhibit got the idea? or did they get it from a similar Alfred Hitchcock Presents ep? Or both?
