Hi all.I've been looking to delve into some these segments a little deeper so I'm in the process of looking for some books that relate to some of the victims portrayed in various UM. I'll probably get The Boys on the Tracks on Amazon but that's all I know of right now.Are there any more out there? I THINK I read about a Cindy James book on here one time.I'm also looking for the best Zodiac book out there. Is there a sticky on any of this? Thanks guys!

Nevermind. I just searched and found a good thread on the subject however I would like to know if there are books on Angela Hammond, Dale Kerstetter or the Wackers. Anyone?

I'm currently reading "Bad Boy," by Gary Lavergne. I have it on paperback (the book was previously sold in hardcover under the title "Bad Boy From Rosebud"). It's about the Texas serial killer Kenneth McDuff. In the spring of 1992, UM did a "missing persons" segment on one of his victims. The victim in question was Colleen Reed, who was snatched by McDuff at a car wash in December 1991. Her remains were recovered in October 1998, one month before McDuff's execution.

There's also a book called "Breaking Blue," by Timothy Egan. Published in 1992, and reprinted in 2004, the book is focuses on the 1935 murder of Spokane police officer George Conniff. UM did a segment on the case in 1989, just a few months after the murder weapon (a gun) was found in a river. There was evidence that linked another cop to the murder, and that a police chief helped this cop get away with it by covering up the evidence.

There is a book entitled "Death Cruise" by Don Davis which apparently covers the murder of Joan, Christy and Michelle Rogers at the hands of Oba Chandler. This murder was briefly covered on UM during their "Diobolical Minds" episode.

Actually the case has recieved a lot of coverage over the years (which is something that is quite rare in my experience for a lot of the UM cases) - Oba Chandler is currently on death row and a wealth of infromation on him can be found on wiki:

One interesting fact is that Doug Crow (aka Glenn Consagra's little nemesis) prosecuted Chandler as well and is a contributor to the book "Death Cruise"
