When the Show started these Two men were already in the diner taking to Alice about Joining a Union and before they arrived at that point of the conversation, i was wondering who the hell they were because the conversation was kind of DEEP-lol Damm couldn't they have left in the part when the Men enterted the Diner since they were having long interactions with Alice and Mel? That's how the episode is...there wasn't anything cut out. You can tell, because just before they pan over to Alice talking to the guys, they're showing the Story/Teleplay/Director credits, which are right at the start of the episode.

It was still chopped up pretty bad, because one minute, Vera is serving an old couple and the next, the old couple is yelling at Mel. LOL

yeah, I didn't mean to imply it wasn't cut, just that the beginning where Alice was talking to the guys about unionizing was uncut. All the episodes are gonna be butchered, since they have about 3-4 minutes of more commercials...something has to give ;)

Not only that, there are times when we are supposed to see a conversation take place that has obviously been going on for some time before we actually saw it. Those guys mentioned the union and other stuff to help clue you in as to what was being talked abt.

Fred is correct. After watching, it is obvious there was no cut in the beginning.

I couldn't comment on this thread earlier because I am on the west coast and I am barely watching it right now. I had to watch it to know what it was you were referring to Solomon.
