Hello, this is my first post.

I have the first four seasons of MTM on DVD and was bummed to learn the remaining seasons might not be released.

Anyhoo, I was wondering if someone who has "copies" of Seasons 5 or 6 on DVD might be willing to share them. I could pay you or send you a DVD of episodes you need in return.

I hope that last paragraph made sense. :crazy:

Specifically, I am looking for the following episodes:

Season 5 -- You Sometimes Hurt the One You Hate, The Outsider, The System, You Try To Be a Nice Guy, You Can't Lose Em All, Ted Baxter's Famous Broadcaster's School.

Season 6 -- Mary Moves Out, Ted's Moment of Glory, Chuckles Bites the Dust, Ted's Wedding, Ted's Tax Refund, The Happy Homemaker Takes Lou Home, What Do You Want to Do When You Produce, Not With My Wife I Don't, Once I Had A Secret Love, Ted And the Kid.

** I want to add that 20th Century Fox totally sucks for not releasing Seasons 5, 6 and 7 -- THE BEST SEASONS OF THE SHOW! Thanks for nothing!

I was able to find them on a site where people post what they have for sale. It is not on this board. If you want, email me and I will tell you where I got them from.

I love this show and had been looking foward to the final seasons on dvd. Luckily I have taped them all from tv over the years so if anyone needs the final seasons you can send me a message.

I just discovered this board and really like it. I started watching the MTM show about a year ago and have become obsessed with it. It is killing me that I may NEVER get to see the last three seasons. I was wondering also if someone could let me know of some way to get episodes from these seasons (or at the very least very descriptive recaps of them). I have read posts of people talking about episodes from these seasons (like Mary's Three Husbands) and am dying to see them or at least hear more about them. Any info would be EXTREMELY appreciated. thanks!

There are bootlegs out there, you might try posting on the Tape Trading board here. In the meantime, you can see clips on YouTube. There's even a thread here where some members were posting links to clips of those later eps. As for descriptions of the episodes, if you want to PM me or even start a thread here, I can try to give you a play-by-play as best I can from my N@N tapes and my own memory. LOL (I do have the episodes, but I can't copy them at the moment, or else I'd help you myself!)

Unfortunately I was born about ten years after the MTM show went off the air and didn't start watching it on DVD until after it wasn't even on re-runs on TV Land anymore. :( So anyway, that means I have nothing to trade on a trading board. Here are some of the episodes that I am dying to see and would be VERY APPRECIATIVE :) if someone could give me a play-by-play description of some of these episodes. I watched every clip on YouTube I could find of the show and read episode descriptions online, but most were only a line or two long. I also bought the book "The Making of the Mary Tyler Moore Show" which had episode desciptions, but I still only know about two sentences worth of any episode from the last three seasons. I'm just dying to know more about what happens! :) Here are the ones that I am especially dying to see.
