It the old fashioned ploy that always in sitcoms when two hetero characters decide to dance together....

In Leave It To Beaver, Wally and Beaver dance together.

On Friends, Joey teached Mr. Treeger to ballroom dance.

On Wings, Roy teaches Antonio to dance, and in another episode Lowell & Joe dance together.

Oh yeah, and on Sex & the City, Stanford & Marcus danced together in a few episodes, but then again, they were a couple.

It seems like there was an episode of Will & Grace, where Jack danced with another guy.

Kelsey Grammer danced with Patrick Stewart in a "Frasier" episode. I forgot the name of the character Stewart was playing but he was a gay man and thought Frasier was too.

That scene was hilarious! Judd Hirsch is the last guy you'd think of who would be dancing on top of a bar, but that just made it funnier. Tony: "Alex, Elaine is having her heart broken and you're having a good time here dancing."

 That's one of my favorite scenes from Taxi.

I heard Patrick Stewart say in an interview that that was his first sitcom and he had a really good time doing it.

Richie Cunningham and Fonzie on Happy Days

Ah! Beat me to that one, actually the first example I thought of when I clicked on the thread. I don't remember the ruse, seems like it was on the order of a "losing-a-bet" deal with Richie compelled against his better judgement to show up at a dance in drag. "Wallflower! let's dance" says Fonz to Richie and they begin to sway to a slow song...and Fonzie proceeds to blow in Richie's ear! "...Fonz..." :brent Gawd, that was hilarious stuff. Mind you, I haven't seen that ep in ~30 years and I recall that scene like it was yesterday. Must be what's meant by "timeless comedy."

How about Mr. Douglas and Eb on Green Acres, the episode when Eb develops a crush on Betty Jo Bradley and needs to learn to dance in time for a date with her. Mr. Douglas acts as dance teacher but Eb....well...drops his course. :D

These may already be mentioned:
FRIENDS: Joey teaches the super how to dance
Boy Meets World: Early in the show when Cory and Shawn were excited (I think they did it twice) they did a goofy dance, which reminds me of a handshake and it reminds of Perfect Strangers.
Perfect Strangers: They celebrated by doing a goofy dance (as I see in this thread it is called the Dance of Joy)

OH Nuts!

Didn't Wally and Beaver have to dance together early on in the series? I think June was making them take ballroom dancing lessons.

And in "The Addams Family" episode where Lurch learned to dance,John Astin ("Gomez" and Ted Cassidy ("Lurch")danced together, after which Gomez, with rose in teeth, took the rose out,and said to Morticia, smiling, and happily said "By George,I think he's got it!" And on "Green Acres",in the episode "Eb Discovers the Birds and the Bees",Eddie Albert("Oliver) and Tom Lester("Eb")danced together,as Oliver taught Eb how to dance.
