I have come across some clashing in dating rituals between customs. I would like to read as many different people's opinions over this from various countries. It's okay if multiple Americans answer as well because I get to hear different view points.
How are the dating rituals like in your country? To help answer various questions, I think it would be best to post up questions in a survey form. This way, it will break down answers more.
1. What is your personal defintion of a date?
2. What is your country's definition of a date?
3. A person asks you to go to a restaurant with them where they pay for your meal. Then, later in the evening they ask if you would like to "see" them again. What would your interpretation be?
4. Any other things to share about special interpretations or customs in dating?

My defintion of a date is me and a cute girl snuggled up in the AC nibbling on Shrimp and lobster tails and washing it down with A cold glass of Fruit Punch. Then watching some classic tv comedy from 1976 like CPO sharkey and Welcome back kotter and both analyzing why both shows could have lasted longer. Then later in the evening some tocuhie feelies between us and then the evening is over

1. What is your personal defintion of a date?
My definition of a date is a nice dinner and a movie or dinner and nice brisk walk through the park.
2. What is your country's definition of a date?
Now a days, who knows?!
3. A person asks you to go to a restaurant with them where they pay for your meal. Then, later in the evening they ask if you would like to "see" them again. What would your interpretation be?
"See" meaning to on go another a date and my answer would depend on the first date. Whether he paid for my meal or not I'd base it on if I had a good time and if he's nice, has nice manners, etc. then yes I'd go for a 2nd date. :)
4. Any other things to share about special interpretations or customs in dating?
Like people say, first impressions are a MUST. But always be yourself. It doesn't help to pretend just to impress your date. ;)
