Will the high cost of gas interfer with your summer vacation plans?

We were thinking of driving to Panama City Beach, Florida in June but since gas has gotten so expensive we will just go to Pigeon Forge, Tn., which is much closer.

Nah, I don't do very much driving to begin with during the summer, even when I go out with friends. The beaches, movie theaters, malls, restaurants, etc are all fairly local. Plus, my friends and I alternate driving (I have three close friends and we all take turns). It helps cut the costs.

We plan on going to the Culture Club (an all 80's themed place...I can't wait to go!) in NYC at the end of June, but we'll take the train for that :)

Already have. We were going to drive to Savannah, but not now.

We were going to drive to New York, but because of gas and parking prices, we're flying.
